About

Stories and events from our family farm in northeast Ohio. We raise Nubian goats, Icelandic sheep, a colorful variety of chickens and Mulefoot hogs.  Our herd of Nubian dairy goats produce milk for a local creamery (Lucky Penny Creamery, Kent, OH) where our milk is turned into lucious goat milk cheese.  We raise our animals in a sustainable and environmentally responsible manner.  Including producing our own hay using composted manure for fertilizer. During lactation we utilizing a custom supplemental mix of forage and grain – from a local mill and every day we provide lots of love.

Follow us on our journey as we document the ups and downs of life on our family farm.

In addition to this blog we have a farm website at http://FerrumMoraine.com where you can find out more about our animals and farm products.
